It’s Cold Outside
The rain falls from morn until night
The sun hides behind clouds
The winds gentle breeze wails
Throughout the day
Cold air lingers on my skin
As I’m chilled to the bone
A cup of hot coffee
Heats up the furnace in my body
It’s Christmas day
The family is gathering at moms
While I sit home under my blanket
Hiding from the rain
The day is weary
The rain is dreary
My dinner is leftover with a side of greens
And a glass of apple cider
It’s cold outside
The wind is blowing
This Christmas day
I spend with Neopoet
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back

Poor girl
Why? It was a cool day here and rained later in the arvo and we had breakfast with the kids and a cousin, then spent the rest of the day on our own. It was nice, but you dear girl, in bed? Must have been very cold. Great write and I hope the new year brings you all the best wishes.
Love to you and yours.
Love Lyz.

Not so bad
It was rather cold and I was feeling crappy, but I was on Neopoet all day and wrote a poem the Elf said was great and comments from others I haven’t been getting so much of lately. So it wasn’t so bad after all. I’m glad you like thanks for reading and commenting.
