Memories
Somewhere
Back in time
Lost to the touch
expired to the smell
all a wane empty feeling
Brewing, un-bereaved memories
The smell
of illusion pigment
of humans age, youth’s and
babies mother’s milk and her touch
a nourishing palm
Reminiscent
of cheerful days
seeming borrowed for a cause
and we can’t pardon—it’s done and gone
Longing
we may-observing weary days
their imminence and this present
bringing back what’s lost and found
Resonance
of events chained in lessons
fatal and minor—all are mentors for us
so long, should we thank or simply regard
so long can we blame, in spite of our self seeking?
Life
a borrowed jacket
whether in cold or heat
to all of us it has to end
all’s memories and life
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?

Dear PaparaziiAwesome
Dear Paparazii
Awesome write,
but the second line in the last stanza is it meant to be jacked or jacket ? I thoroughly enjoyed the read
kind regards Jayne
Old friend!
I’m happy that u took a glimpse on this piece, it has few of my concern towards what i don’t quite understand in life, like many time, writing reveals certain particular resemblance and revelation of things hidden. When i meant—Life is a borrowed JACKET, i simply mean that it doesn’t belong to us, what we only do is feeel that it belongs to us, but the truth is we belong to eat. Anyway–guess this does it, happy days and a MERRY XMASSSS.

Oh dear Papi
You are blessed when I call you Papi a I think it a lovely name for you, but i hope it does for you too.
You are also blessed with a mind and a pen so full of feeling and a special understanding of life that is yours alone, in your special environment which you paint of us so well.
I JUST LOVE “Life a borrowed jacket” such a very wonderful way of describing our existence on/ in/ under/ over this earth, this globe of spinning matter. The superb simplicity of the borrowed jacket is absolutely special and wonderful.
Like Jayne I think you meant T
“Life
a borrowed jacked” ……..T ……..Do change it if you can?
If we shall not see you before the Christmas time, and I know it means something to you, then I too wish you a happy Christmas and a good time with good friends, I am sure you have made some wherever you go.
Love to you Ephriam from Ann
Thanks Ann, it is all of us,
Thanks Ann, it is all of us, the great and the small, all have a great purpose in providing us with questions, answers, ventures and you can mention the rest. That’s where what i have comes from, the world itself has it all, but we seek but we can’t have it all.
So glad that you liked that–“borrowed Jacket” did loved it so much when it popped in mind, thanks, i didn’t notice that i had put d instead of T at the end of jacket. Oh Ann, you have no idea how happy i’ll be to see you, it would be one of the greatest precious Xmass to enjoy with you. I believe there’s a day we shall meet, so help me God. Again i more than apreciate the poem you wrote for me, it’s so special and that made me to know again that i’m special to you, did wrote a special one to you as well.
Pleasant days and good nights
Ephraim/Papi
