It can greet you as an equal
compliment you like a friend,
can give you a new begining
or assault you with an end.
Can trick you into believing
that what you think you know is true,
and make you feel like an idiot
as lonliness swallows you.
Life wouldn’t be much without it
there wouldn’t even be grace from above,
we all experience it in many forms
that’s the audacity of love.
It can also bring you comfort
and can ease your worried mind,
soothe you when you’re lonely
teach you to be color blind;
soften the hardest of hearts
give you the spirit of a dove,
kill hatred with a knowing glance
that’s the audacity of love.
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back

I Loved this one!!!!
Hi Docmaverick
In my personal opinion you caught every definition there is to put to the word love and put it into this write…… Everything you have said here is true and real. And you are correct in calling this ” The Audacity of love” Perfect title for a very good write!!!
Thank you for this!!
Kind regards
Feebie
Mistakes happen, do not dwell on them, live them, mourn them and move on to better things. (PS: if that does not work eat lots and lots of chocolate)
Doc, I think this is the best of yours I have read
These last 3 postings show a big development and… well what the hell have you been doing? Studying? Reading? Living? I know you are into magic, as am I, but you have clearly not drawn on any dark powers! I do know that this was an audacious subject and you handled it with intelligence, compassion and style.
cheers,
Jess
