Just now a memorycaught my eye.Looking long,I gave a sigh.
Without a thoughtI brought you near,to see if Icould maybe hear,
your words again, with whispers sweet, like baby’s breathand angels feet.
I close my eyesand we are there, enjoying life, without a care.
I brush my handacross your face.Inhale a breathto smell that place,
where once we playedwhen time stood still, and daisies grewon Green Grass Hill.
I turn my gazeback down to youand everythingcomes back in view.
The paper smilesin shades of black.I realizeI’m smiling back.
An empty well…My eyes stay dry.(I can’t believeI didn’t cry.)
I hang you upand walk away.My heart is whereyou’ll always stay.
Thanks to everyone. I’ve
