im so tired
my eyes are closing
but this damn wind feels so fine
its stroking my hair
my tilted face
sitting in the dark
on the deck in the
chair
alone and okay
ringing
the little chimes
ring
the squirell waterwheel
spinning
water gurgling
yah its plugged in even
at night
i can hear it
i can feel
it the peace
it all brings me
stretch out my long tired
legs in this old lawn chair
traffic sounds miles away
downtown
listen there
a freight coming in
moaning softly
i need a hot cup of tea
with a splash of milk
and a dash of sugar
ill stir my bones
and climb the stairs
in a moment
the water wheel splashs
the pines sigh
the night laughs
O
got lured outside in the dark hour the playful spirit my heart contented

I am there enjoying this lawn chair night
in the cool breeze just listening to all the wonderful sounds.
thanks for writing a peaceful poem

This is so relaxing. I tend to go for dawn and dusk, too. All the birds are grabbing breakfast / dinner from our feeder, and chattering their remarks. I love the lines about rousing yourself up to go to bed eventually - so hard to pull yourself away from something that is so soothing. Maybe keep the window open upstairs and let the crickets lull you to sleep?
Nice work.

visual...
A open window - beyond it there is musicality, visual perceptions and sensorial ones; it’s like I feel the wind from your words, watching the sky filled with stars and hearing the nature whispering to my ears beautiful words
Congratulations!
