Mentors meet regularly with their protégés and help them grow as a poet.
To become a protégé
Anyone can become a protégé, though spots are limited. To find a mentor, check out the Protege Dashboard. If you find a mentor you want to connect with, click on their name to go to their profile. Do make sure that the number of openings they have, listed in the "Number of Protégé Slots" column, is greater than the number of proteges that they current have, listed in the "Number of Active Protégés" column.
Once on their profile page, click the "Request a mentor relationship with XXX" link (where XXX is their member name).
To become a mentor
To become a mentor, take a look at the mentoring program application. You do not need to apply if you would like to become a protégé.
