Sorry for My Belated Response:

The 522-page VERSES FROM 1929 ON is a very nice collection. I think you’d find it in almost any public library.

The copy I’m holding has a last copyright date of 1952. So it’s old.

But then so am I.

Thanx for asking,
Chuck

To Address a Possible Question ...

with reference to my posting of short stories as poems:

I sometimes find it a hard call. If a story has a poetic appeal … or flow … or feel to it, even though it’s essentially in prose form, I like to tip my judgment in favor of classifying it as poetry. I guess it might be termed poetic prose …

or perhaps prosy poetry.

Thanks, Chuck!

For the kitty poem - it was quite cute. I’ll have to write one for Buster in return. :~)
