About me I am in love with all things. Even the ugly things. I find inspiration in the little things...driving alone on the highway at midnight, the window seat on a plane, hotel beds, gardens, collarbones, scars, photographs, trying to walk and admire the stars at the same time, 3pm moon, food from my childhood, Italian accents, low clouds, fresh laundry when you're cold, quotes, messy rooms, dark studies, new york city at night, sneaking out, hidden looks, meaningful music, laughing hysterically with friends, the life of teachers, lovers, blacklights, fortune cookies, the sea not the ocean, snow days, waiters, love letters, naps, late night conversations, my porch, autumn wind, singing, bonfires, art, shopping for groceries alone at night, kind strangers, wise voice overs, smirks, careless lazy eyes, kissing, strange dreams, books, crossing paths then talking about it later down the road, irony, secrets, possiblities, memories, sharp jawlines, whispering in a movie theater, personification, volunteering, taking showers in the dark, apartments, packing, freckles, tan skin and the movie Vanilla Sky. I pretty much only write love poems. I fall in love with people too easily. (i like to think its not a flaw.)

I read

your influences, you like a great many simple yet interesting things-Then
at the end you say ‘I fall in love to easily’ just like the lyrics of
a song I heard, sang by Chet Baker i think-‘I fall in love too easily , i fall
in love too fast, i fall in the too terribly terribly hard, for love to
ever ever last ,i have been well schooled but i been fooled in the past, yes i
fall in love too easily etc etc-and the tune wow-

And

one may have squint of the eye, though have ‘hidden’ charms , just to throw a line

icons if i may say so-

You

say you are in love with ugly things, what is ugly besides Margareat Thatcher
not even me i d’ont think can be that ugly, though i have been Known to come close
if i may admit to this-Toni Blair is also guilty of hideousness as is his wife-

Imo… until we have

Imo… until we have accepted and loved our *dark side/shadow self* we know not what love is.

I have read

everything you have here. Awesome write. The love that is almost there. The desperation in the words questioning if it love at all. And the questions you put to yourself, if life is even worth it. I like the thought process.
