For part one:

  Compose a poem in any style that makes an articulate argument for atheism.

The winner of this part will receive a copy of a book articulating support for any of the world's religions. The winner can choose what religion. For example, if the winner chooses Christianity, they will receive the book Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.

Welcome to the first issue of our new monthly newsletter. As a founding
member, you've been subscribed by default. (But please feel free to
change your subscription options if you like.)


Updated homepage layout

We are proud to release a new version of our homepage -- we now have
a new section called the "Spotlight poem". The spotlight is culled from
the highest rated poem from the past two weeks. -- you can look at more
information about the selection process or just jump to see the homepage itself.

Remember, the more poems you rate, the better the
artificial intelligence. What artificial intelligence? Yes -- we use an
algorithm in the "Neopoet Suggest" feature to match you up with poems we
think you like. Many of our members have already rated enough poems to
make a complete profile of what they like and don't like. We are
essentially matching your preferences to theirs to suggest to you poems
they liked but you haven't yet viewed.

Have you seen poetry twice in Neopoet Suggest?
Make sure you rate poems are you read them -- this will give us feedback
to improve ratings for everyone -- and it will let the website know
never to show you that poem again on Neopoet Suggest (of course, it will
still be visible on the generla website).
