Kudos

Hey buddy. “Save Me From What?” is fantastic. You really did a great job. It’s short and sweet. I was teasing you a bit, just out of jealousy, but I really mean it.

from the hips the recoil of consideration

here in the winter almost of the north
city lights and calmness
buses snaking their way like ships
cars feeling their way with lights
walkers in dark

i met and know of veterans up here in canada
and remember Kenny a black man who was still
in his jungle fatigues in our little tiny
town in Ontario in the very early seventies

from the television nightly news casts where
my mother would cry to his rich reality

Hey I love your writing and at night when

i just go over the words

Right here with you

Here I sit in a chair flipping through your pages reading your thoughts and finding you. Amazed and surprised by your words. For I thank you for your thoughts on mine. I leave no trace of me on yours for my cat got my tongue. Your words are greatly adored by me and mine.

We could probably work

We could probably work something out with you as a contributor. (Monetary, too, if you’d like ;]) I’m trying to decide on a theme, at the moment, so I’ll let you know- if there’s going to be one, that is.
