Hello, BlackRose,
I stumbled over your description of yourself. A friend of mine has the same problem with spelling you seem to have, and she´s really clever, too. Have you thought about being tested for dyslexia? I am told by a friend who is a dyslexia therapist that there are two kinds of dyslexia, one being genetic and one being caused by insufficient tutoring, and that both can be cured.
