*Mutual admiration society*. So seemingly derogatory, isn’t it? However, I think we feel the truth in the responses, seemingly full of admiration or condemnation of one sort or another.. I belonged to one that was pure bs (from which I was eventually banned) and I belong to another one where, all poems are considered *sacred* and the heart continually falls back into itself.

I first heard the term, jokingly, in grad. school in reference to peer criticism. Fortunately, our research meetings functioned effectively - a supportive mutual aid society. Thanks for the reference. I’ll give it a look when I’m a little less tired.
